Monthly Membership Meeting

Be sure to make your reservations early so you can get entered into the Jackpot Drawing!  You must be a member and make advanced luncheon reservations to qualify!  If you bring a guest who is a Potential New Member, you  can enter the "Potential New Member" drawing for a Free Lunch!  Please register your "potential new member" in advance, but we will be glad to take their information at the door.

2010 Annual Planning Retreat

We need your ideas!!!  The Board and Advisory Council for Chapter 3 are setting the agenda for the annual Planning Retreat at the coast.  It is scheduled for Saturday & Sunday, November 6th and 7th at the Cavalier Condominiums complex just south of Lincoln City.

This is the time we roll up our sleeves and brainstorm new ideas, directions, and goals for 2011. This is also a great time for newcomers to learn about the behind-the-scenes workings of your local Beaver State Chapter 3.

If you're interested in serving as a committee chair for 2011, contact Dawneen Dostert (dawneen_dostert@comcast.net) and volunteer today. Future Board members are welcome, too, and we'd love to have you join us for this event. We have lots of food, drinks (byob) and fun.  There is a pool, pool table and some really great networking that goes on.  All condo units overlook the ocean. Bring a potluck dish and your input on how the future of our chapter will proceed.

Please let Marta (MartaGo@comcast.net) know as soon as possible if you can join us; she will make the reservations for you.  Thanks for your help, it promises to be an exciting time as we look forward to shaping our future.

December Past-President and Installation Dinner

Time to schedule your dinner reservation for December 2nd, 2010.  It will again be held at the Rheinlander on Sandy Blvd.  Let Shannon know at:  Shannon@rowainc.com as soon as possible.  There will be a white elephant gift exchange ($10 range), excellent food (lots of it!).  The Chapter pays for all retired (and not working anymore in the right-of-way business) past Chapter 3 Presidents.  Stay tuned for more updates on time and price.   Don't delay, start planning for holiday fun now!

NOVEMBER MEETING DATE CHANGED

Due to the regular second Friday of the month meeting date being a holiday, Veterans Day, the November meeting has been moved up to the FIRST Friday of the month, November 5th.  Please note this on your calendar so you don't miss out!

Looking Ahead for Education

To help with your educational, certification and designation planning, we are providing information on courses for the current year.  Note that you might be able to earn the course cost by coordinating your preferred class, but you will need to take the coordinator's course given by Chapter 3 as well as take the online IRWA corporate course.  Check with the Education committee for details!
